My name is Naveen and I am a professional creative video editor. Over 2+ years of full-time editing I have cut hundreds of social media reels, short-form videos, YouTube episodes, promotional and brand films for clients across Tamil Nadu, India, Singapore and Malaysia. Every project is handled remotely, from footage handover to final delivery.
I specialise in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro, with After Effects for motion graphics. DaVinci Resolve is where I do all colour work — shot matching, skin-tone isolation and film-emulation grading — while Premiere Pro handles fast assembly, multicam events and long-form YouTube timelines.
What actually drives the work is storytelling. A good edit is not a stack of transitions; it is a decision about what the viewer feels in the first three seconds and whether they stay to the last. I build every project around that question, whether it is a 20-second Instagram reel or a 40-minute documentary.
My Workflow — From Footage to Final Delivery
1. Receiving footage
You share raw footage through Google Drive, WeTransfer or a direct WhatsApp link. I check formats, frame rates and audio quality before quoting a delivery date.
2. Story planning
I review every clip, mark the strongest moments and build a paper edit or shot list so the video has a clear beginning, middle and end before any effects are added.
3. Rough cut
The assembly edit is built in Adobe Premiere Pro — pacing, structure and music selection first. You receive a watermarked preview for early feedback.
4. Sound and colour
Dialogue is cleaned, levels are balanced and the timeline moves into DaVinci Resolve for primary correction, shot matching and the final cinematic grade.
5. Graphics and polish
Titles, captions, logo animation and infographic overlays are added in After Effects, matched to your brand colours and fonts.
6. Revisions
You review the near-final cut and send timestamped notes. Revisions are included in every package so nothing ships before you are happy.
7. Final delivery
Final files are exported in the formats you need — 4K master, vertical 9:16 reel, square cutdown and compressed web version — with project files archived for 30 days.
